NY Tech Gives Back is a day for the NY tech community to come together for a good cause through volunteerism and giving.
For our inaugural event, we are partnering with CampInteractive, a not-for-profit organization that empowers inner-city youth through the inspiration of the outdoors and the creative power of technology. Through a combination of after school programming and wilderness trips, CampInteractive takes kids from the Bronx and instills leadership qualities at a crucial time in their development. The program uniquely combines tech + outdoor activities.
When asked what event the kids would most like, they chose ice skating. We're making it happen. We're also having an informal after party at Chelsea Piers Brewery after the event, for people to chat, hangout, and relax. It's a cash bar and there will not be any frills as we wanted as much of your money as possible to go directly to charity,

**The ice skating rink opens at 1pm. Get there early so we can get the kids on the ice. We may have some leftover pizza from the kids but it's best if you eat ahead of time just in case.**
